A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SEGi University and Bahru Stainless Sdn. Bhd. was signed by Professor Dr. Patrick Kee Peng Kong, Acting Vice Chancellor, SEGi University and Mr. Oswald Wolfe Gomez, CEO of Bahru Stainless Sdn. Bhd. at SEGi University Main Campus in Kota Damansara. With guest speaker, Ar. Serina Hijjas who is Director of Hijjas Kasturi Associates Sdn. and a member of Green Building Index (GBI) Accreditation Panel giving a talk on "Steel-ing the Future : Innovation & Sustainability Design".

We made history and we’re glad to be a part of it. Best of all, we did it all in 2 days! Dental Faculty is the 1st in its entire university in Kota Damansara and colleagues in Malaysia to host a CSR event that is unique and one-of-its-kind; we even had the media attending the event. And, hoping to catch all of this in ntv7, TV3, NST, berita harian, Harian Metro, the Star and Sin Chew Daily.

With the message the ‘gift of knowledge, personal care and love’ shared across the nation, it’ll encourage other faculties and perhaps even other colleagues and universities to follow similar footsteps; offering their services to help those in need.

The aim is basically to educate the young children on the importance of taking care of their teeth and health in general. Rather than giving products like clothing, food and toys, the idea of sharing the ‘gift of knowledge, personal care and love’ is perhaps the best gift for any child to have gleaming smiles, just in time for the upcoming Hari Raya Celebration.

This was one of HausofEvents’ first roadshow events where we dressed our vehicle to simulate the look and feel of a mobile aquarium.
